BCIC College: A Trusted Name for Quality Education. BCIC College is a renowned academic institution operated by Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation regulated by the Ministry of Industry, the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The college lies in the serene and tranquil premises of a 5.16- acre land, contiguous to the National Botanical Garden as well as Dhaka Zoo, from where it is super easy to have access to all advantages of the capital. On the other hand, in the college compound there stands a Shaheed Minar built in an impressively architectural fashion, a striking mural painting remains drawn displaying the themes of the Language Movement and the Liberation War of Bangladesh. The college commenced its journey with the school section in 1983. The Science Group, the Business Studies Group and the Humanities Group of the college section started their glorious journey in 1991, 1996 and 1997 respectively. At present around 2100 students make the college compound vibrant with their lively presence. The necessary number of qualified and experienced teachers and their utmost efforts along with the direct supervision of the college authority have already made a succession of nearly 100% success as well as high rate of GPA-5 holders in the secondary and higher secondary examinations every single year. Spacious classrooms, subject-wise laboratories, a library with the number close to eight thousand books and with good seating arrangements for students and teachers, a mosque, a large playground – this infrastructural adequacy as well as regular co-curricular activities at the inter-college and the national level has bestowed on this college the prestige of being one of the best colleges under Dhaka Education Board. From the very inception of the class activities of the 11th Grade, BCIC College implements in sequence the syllabus, event calendar and co-curricular schedules after they are formulated.
